I’ve gained inspiration and energy from watching others take their journeys, or try things out before me. I learn more about them; I learn more about myself. I learn more about human nature in general.

A 100%. I am quite reticent writing personal narratives. No matter if it is therapeutic but I am more concerned that it will be taken as self sloganeering!!!
