Glad to know that you raise a platform on Medium facilitates historical stories.

I am more of historical-turn-of events person than a hero. I am strongly convinced that history is collectively man-made, hence it is unjust for me to write one name. I am intrigued by the world history and civilizations, that change the trajectory of humankind. To name few-I read, watch and research-downfall of Constantinople, Russian revolution, the two World Wars and its aftermath. Recently, I am also reading and researching, the rise of state of Israel and its spy ring Mossad. I plan my Vacations to the places that historically intrigues me. Yet, quite unfortunately, selection of countries like Turkey or so, super annoy my kids and husband. However, that suffices to recount my fondness for history, and its revolutionaries.

Coming to the judging past, with the lens of present, I believe it is ridiculously anachronistic! Right from culture to survival techniques to religions, everything transforms in the machine called time. So, the consequential understanding is mistaken, malformed and distorted and sometimes glorious. However, I also believe that we often tend to do so, to confirm our biases.
